I have two new items up in my Etsy shop.
The first is a screenprinted t-shirt. I started off with something simple and I think the white and red is a lovely colour combination.
The second is a felt badge I made a white back. I have made SO many ladies that I forgot about this fellow. He has always been one of my favourites and is a little quirky.

Headbands
I made this headband out of brown leather and blue stitching. It has a small bit of elastic at the bottom so it comes on and off. It doesn't stand out that well in my hair because it is also brown, but I like that, because it looks like I have strange blue stitching in my hair. The first one I made was red, but it is too big. I am hoping to list some on Etsy soon.

Website Version Two
Version Two is now up and looking much better than the first. If anyone is interested in putting an ad on there for their shop please contact me. I have rotating ads in the bottom corners of some of the pages and a few more would be good.

Drawings
So stage two of my website should be ready in the next few days. The current site is really a filler until I get the new one out, which looks much better. In the meantime here is a small drawing I did. I liked the image of the cut out girl next to it, so included it all. I keep doing drawings to list on Etsy but I never like them enough to put them up.

Girls Just Wanna
I posted a new badge on Etsy. This one is a brunette, a little more natural than my last badges.
I also got a stall at Rose Street Artist Market for January 20. It seems like ages away, but I know it isn't. I think the summer is going to be super busy. At least I start holidays earlier this year. December 21st is far to late for term 4 to be ending.

Drought And Fire
I listed the bag that Sweet T Original and I worked on together over the weekend. It really is an amazing bag, very well made.
I currently have a lot of 10 totes, which I am sewing up. I am at the stage where I am ready to screen print onto them. I am not sure what I want to do, although I was thinking something involving trees and flowers.
In the meantime I did some tree prints onto white fabric for little pouches. The first print worked out well, but the others got a little over-inked. I got some new black ink and it is much runnier. I only ended up making one, which I have listed on Etsy. It looks like dying trees, which is quite topical as Australia is apparently going through the worst drought ever.

My New Overlocker
I got three packages in the mail today. What a great surprise to come home from work to.
Number one was my new ebay purchase. This overlocker was cheap and is hopefully cheerful. I don't have a manual but I can tell it needs a service.
Number two is my lovely new pendant from Jessica Jane. It is perfect.
Number three is the collaboration between Sweet T Originals and myself. I have not shown this print here yet, because I didn't want to ruin any surprise, but Sweet T has done such an amazing job on the bag. I am so impressed.

Primary Invasion
I am keeping with my theme of the primary colours. I went shopping the other day at Job Warehouse and got some interesting fabrics, this yellow fabric was like curtains from the 70's. Who knows how long the bolt had been sitting at the back of the shop for.
The lining and button is blue, the zip is red.

Whitey and Tarty
These two geezers, Whitey and Tarty were made about 4 months ago. They are not going to be winning any beauty contests anytime soon, but they are really what got me back into making things full time. Tarty is super soft, Whitey is having problems shedding those unwanted kilos from his hips. They hold court over our lounge room.
It's pretty easy to tell who is who.

My little lady
I took some stuff into Kids In Berlin yesterday. I have 30 little badges, 4 little pouches and four tote bags. I decided to keep this little lady for myself:
I went op-shopping on Friday and found some nice fabric and this lovely trim. I didn't realise how nice it was until I opened it up the next day.
Well now we come to the end of the holidays again. I am not sad or even nervous about going back tomorrow. Maybe that is because we have a inservice day. Maybe it is because I am looking forward to it.
