Birds From The Sketchbook

This bird was a little drawing in my sketchbook that I coloured in with photoshop. I turned it into a print today using white on some red, blue and green fabric. I've almost turned one into a tote bag, but I have to change the bobbin over to blue thread and for some reason that extra little job seems to make me want to sit in front of the television and watch the three films we have out with the heater on high and a cup of tea and some needle and thread.

How bad is bobbin changing for inducing procrastination... Bobbin changing, putting thread on the bobbin, changing the needle...

I've actually started with my little coinpurses putting them in piles according to the colour of thread they need so I won't run into this issue.

I love those birds, they are just gorgeous. I've often dreamed about how handy it would be to have two sewing machines running and then I could havetwo different coloured bobbins ready tog , and not have to sew, undo, change colour, undo, etc. Ahh, maybe one day!

I love the new birds, the green one on top is my favorite.

And 3 great movies you've got!! I loved Pan's Labyrinth so so much and The Fountain is strange and bizarre and heartbreaking and wonderful. The Last King of Scotland was also amazing. Great choices - Enjoy!
