This is one of my drawings using chopsticks. The dont hold the ink for long and the line is really heavy to begin with, but it creates and interesting line compared to the brush. Inks are nice, but some of my inks that are over a year old have this strange stale smell.

Origami Applique
I have made some more origami appliqué bags. I can only really use thin fabric such as muslin for the origami, I tried with some thicker stuff and it was a failure. When I first started I was not so good at making the crane, but now I can almost do it without the instructions. The white crane one on the blue fabric has blue stitching which makes a nice contrast, the others had yellow stitching which was nice and subtle. There are a few more available at Meet Me At Mikes.

New Ladies
I have some more felt ladies coming to Etsy, here is the first modelled by the lovely, talented Aish. I like this little lady a lot, the colour combo of yellow and orange in the hair is bright and it goes well together.

New Bags, New Etsy
Etsy is back and it is all exciting and different. I listed something new today to test out all the new things. This tote bag has a print on the front and the back of a flock of birds. The blue with white print is a lovely colour combo. Have a look on Etsy, we get five images now.

Sayonara Sunday Night
New badges and bags are available at Meet Me At Mikes on Bridge Road in Richmond. Here is one of the pretty ladies. She likes to each Chocolate Pudding while listening to AC/DC.
I have also been working on a customer order, which combines two of my favourite things, bags and badges! The order is for some little make-up purses with the little felt ladies on them. I have made two already and they look swell. They will be going to Califonia. I think trips abroad suit them.
Tomorrow I look forward to a early morning drive to Dandenong South, which is obviously the best way to start all Monday mornings.

Mini-Clutch
I made this clutch yesterday and had no idea what to call it. It wasn't really a wallet, but it isn't very large either. I made another one today which is a little bigger, but the press studs didn't come out perfect, which means I have a lovely new wallet. I hope to make some more, it is nice to make something that is finished a lot quicker than my bags.

Long Weekend
I have made plenty of bags this weekend with the hope of taking them to Meet Me At Mikes soon. I went back to an old design, using the origami crane applique. I also used the fabric I bought at the Job Warehouse and realised it is really lovely fabric. I only got a meter because it wasn't cheap, but I was able to get three bags from the orange and blue fabrics, and they look lovely with the soft muslin origami crane.

More Birds On T-shirts
I have another t-shirt available on Etsy. This one used the shapes I cut out for the print on the other red T-Shirt I listed.
This is a photo of the cut out birds used in the print. They all curled up and looked like they are worms with salt over them. I was thinking of making a nice mobile with them, but I have reused them since and they are not curly anymore. I like this photo a lot though.

Leather Brooch
I made this brooch a while back and finally finished it off with a pinback. I was going to send it off with a package but kept misplacing it, so didn't end up sending it. I thought, I am going to list it then, otherwise I would end up wearing it.
I got another pendant from Etsy, from a seller called One Small Flicker. It is really lovely, go and check out her stuff.
